HIGH SCHOOL HUMANITIES TEACHER – part time or full time

The Alpine School (TAS), located in the beautiful Snowy Mountains of NSW, offers a modern and innovative Steiner education to its students from Kindergarten to year 12.

At TAS we believe that the key to unlocking and developing every child's full potential is an inspired, engaging and natural learning environment which nurtures attributes of curiosity, creativity, and a life-long love of learning. 

We are seeking a high school English and Humanities teacher to join our expanding team. 

The successful applicant will have a strong knowledge and understanding of Steiner pedagogy (or a willingness to learn), and preferably have Steiner teaching experience. You will be creative and enthusiastic with a passion for delivering high quality, evidence-based teaching practices and achieving optimal outcomes for students’ learning and well-being. You will also be organised and flexible with strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build and maintain respectful and positive relationships with parents, students and colleagues. In addition, you will hold relevant teaching qualifications for eligibility for accreditation with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Working with Children Check.

Commencement Date: Term 1, 2026
